Installation Guidelines.

Hidden Fixing

• The Enduradeck boards are designed to be used with our ABS Plastic or  stainless steel hidden clipping systems. The clips will guarantee a consistent gap between the edges of the boards. Each floor joist requires 1 clip per board.​

Starter Board

• The first board laid on your new deck is referred to as a starter board. Enduradeck "C" clips are used for starter boards. The "C" clip allows you to accommodate the required 5mm distance from the wall/structure.

Fascia

• Using the Enduradeck fascia is an ideal way of finishing the edges of your new deck. Pre drilling of the fascia is required prior to fastening.
• Enduradeck Fascia is available with a brushed finish in all decking colours. 

Double Joists

• When joining boards using a Butt join, a double side by side joist MUST be installed. Fitting a clip on each joist.

Breaker Board
​The breaker board method of joining is recommended on long spans instead of butt joining. Using a breaker board will allow for additional board movement. 

Installation on concrete 

Enduradeck Decking can be installed with joists directly onto concrete.

Locking Clip

• The locking clip is used on the center joist of each board and ensures even expansion and contraction.

Maximum Joist Distance 
Centre to Centre Must Not Exceed;

Hollow CO-EXTRUDED boards 
- 400mm .

Solid ALL  boards  
- 450mm.
                                      

Please include  5% wastage for all orders

Storage

• Enduradeck decking must be stored flat, off the ground on supports and under cover prior to installation.
•  Decking can be installed using standard wood working tools. Guidelines must be followed to adhere to warranty requirements.

Only solid profile boards are suitable for commercial applications.
Please allow a fall on your deck to help prevent pooling and/or water staining.
Recommended  300mm clearance from ground level (soil) to prevent distortion and cupping.
Decking can be laid on concrete less than 300mm clearance if drainage is adequate.
